Differences in Shooting Performance and Features
The GoPro HERO13 Black and HERO7 Silver have a significant gap in shooting performance, mainly because they were released 6 years apart.

If you just want basic image stabilization, the HERO7 Silver may be fine, but if you're looking to capture more intense action scenes, you'll want at least HyperSmooth 3.0.
Differences in Body Features
Although the HERO13 Black and HERO7 Silver are six generations apart, they differ by three generations in terms of body design.
As a result, the following differences exist:

While the HERO7 Silver is significantly disadvantaged in terms of performance and features, it does have the advantage of being "compact and lightweight."
The HERO7 Silver is about 40% lighter and has a smaller body than the HERO13 Black. This makes it less intrusive when mounted, and it is less noticeable when mounted on a helmet.
However, since the HERO7 Silver requires a case for mounting, it will actually weigh slightly more, but it is still undeniably lighter than the HERO13 Black.
