The standout feature of the HERO13 series is its completely redesigned body.

These additions mark a significant turning point in the history of GoPro, representing one of the most substantial changes to the camera's design.
The interchangeable "HB series lenses" include options like macro and ultra-wide-angle lenses. When switching lenses, the GoPro automatically adjusts its settings, expanding the range of photos and videos that can be captured, bringing the GoPro closer to the versatility of a DSLR camera.
For mounting and charging, the HERO13 adopts a magnetic attachment system similar to Apple's MagSafe, streamlining operations and making it much easier to use in the field.
Video Recording and Stabilization Features Based on HERO12
While the body design has seen a significant upgrade, the video recording features remain mostly the same as the HERO12, except for the addition of "400FPS slow-motion." The stabilization system continues to use HyperSmooth 6.0, making it clear that the HERO13 builds on the foundation of the HERO12.
That said, the HyperSmooth 6.0 introduced in the HERO12, with its automatic boost and horizon-lock capabilities, is already a highly refined stabilization system, providing more than enough functionality for most users.
Continued Support for 10-Bit Color, Bluetooth Audio Control, and Wireless Sync via Timecode
Key features introduced in the HERO12 series, hailed as "evolution for professional use," continue to be present in the HERO13:
