Additionally, the HERO12 Black features the advanced HyperSmooth 6.0 stabilization system built into the camera, including horizon leveling. However, the HERO (2024) relies on GoPro’s Quik app for post-production stabilization. While the Quik app provides excellent stabilization, those who upload footage directly from the camera or use other editing software will find the extra step of applying stabilization in the Quik app to be an added inconvenience.
